TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Free Estimates & Diagnostics

Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC will always provide you with a free repair estimates and diagnostics (in person or verbally over the phone) for final repair. Once you approve the estimate for repair costs, Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC will proceed to schedule a repair at a rate previously discussed and agreed upon. All estimates are valid for up to 30 days. If you decide to not have your device repaired through us, after agreeing to the estimate and diagnosis, you will be charged a nonrefundable $30 fee for our time that was spent on diagnostics.

Manufacturer Warranty & Parts

Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLCs’ technicians are familiar with the protocols of computer hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and configuration, but are not official OEM authorized service technicians. Customers agree that by allowing Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC to have access to their device and/or other equipment may void any and all warranties covering hardware, software, and any other associated parts or equipment. If repair of your device requires parts to be replaced and/or upgraded, Customer understands that new parts may or may not be OEM parts. Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC can ensure you though, that we use the highest quality parts available whether they are OEM or not.

Liability

In the case of accidental damage to your system, including but not limited to data loss caused by already existing problems such as a virus, poorly configured software, hardware problems or hardware failures; you agree to not hold Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC responsible for any of these pre-existing problems. During the repair process, an issue not related to the initial diagnostic may be found. Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC shall not be held responsible for any other preexisting issues and or cosmetic damage. If other issues are found, you will be notified and be given the option to decide on how to proceed. Please be advised that while nothing will be done by our techs to purposely cause loss of data and files from your computer, mechanical failure of computer or device components can happen with out warning, and virus infections can cause unpredictable problems. If you have important information on your computer or device such as family pictures or financial records, and wish to minimize your risk of data loss, please inquire about our back up services which can be performed before intensive diagnostic tests or virus scans are performed.

Confidentiality

In connection with our performance of services, we may be furnished or given access to knowledge, information, data, compilations of data, customer-identifying information, reports, and documents that are confidential, trade secrets of, and proprietary to you including, but not limited to, information about and on products, customers, and business operations and strategy. We use private information only for the purposes of performing services for you. We shall not use any information for the benefit of our company or any third party, nor shall we divulge or convey to any person or business any information except as strictly necessary to perform the services, and provided such person or business shall agree in writing to be bound to the obligation of confidentiality hereunder.

Operating System Reloads

Please keep in mind also that if the Operating System Reload Service is required, you will be contacted first by us before we perform the service. You may opt to have us backup your information before we perform the service for an additional charge. An Operating System Reload requires that the computer hard drive be formatted and erased before reinstalling the Operating System software. An Operating System reload also requires that you reinstall all printer drivers, and additional computer programs you may have installed since the original purchase of the computer. We cannot restore computer programs from backup. They must be re-installed from their original sources. Under no circumstances does Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC work with pirated software. If pirated software is found on your computer, you will be immediately informed. 


Service Calls

If a service call to your home is requested to fix other issues and/or set up your computer, an adult (18 years or older) must be present during the entire time period services are provided. If no adult is present, services will be denied.

Abandoned Items

 The Customer will be contacted as soon as their computer or device is ready for pick up. It is the Customer’s responsibility to verify that we have the correct contact information on file, which also appears printed on the Claim Ticket that the Customer will receive when dropping off their computer.. Computers that are diagnosed as non-repairable or not cost effective for repair will be disposed of if abandoned for over 30 days at our sole discretion. Any computers or devices abandoned over 60 days without prior arrangements will be disposed of at our discretion. The abandonment of item(s) does not relieve the Customer from the amounts due. Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC reserves the right to pursue collections and by failing to respond, Customer agrees to be liable for any and all costs incurred in such collections. Prior to any further transactions with Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC, Customer will be required to remit in full on any previous mounts due plus provide pre-payment for any further services.

 

Service Warranty

All services and repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the date on the invoice that you will receive at time of pick up. If the preexisting issue reoccurs, we will work to remedy your problem quickly and at no additional cost to you unless service is related to a new/separate problem, parts in your computer or device need to be replaced/upgraded, and/or the issue was fault of the computer user. If a virus, malware, or spyware necessitated repairs, this warranty is no longer valid. Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC holds the right to refund payment due to own judgments, and no further repair will be done.

Deposits

All computer systems require a deposit equal to half the final cost of the system or device. The other half is due at time of pickup.

If a part is required to facilitate a repair that is not a standard part that is in Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC’s inventory, and the cost of the part is over $75, Customer will be required to pay a deposit of 50% of the final cost for the part before it is ordered. If for any reason a Customer decides prior to the repair not to purchase the part that has been ordered, Customer will be solely responsible for shipping costs to and from the manufacturer, plus a 25% cancellation charge of the total part value.

All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Payments

All payment is due at the end of service unless payment terms are established. You understand that Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC has a lien on your computer or device until paid for in full. You agree to pay in full all costs and expenses incurred by Advanced Computer Solutions & Consulting, LLC in collecting the amounts owed by you under this agreement and/or subsequent invoice, including, but not limited to, any and all court costs and attorneys’ fees.
